Joy My backyard Ice Cream in NC

Just thought I'd share a pic of my lone Ice Cream that is growing well this summer. The two pups just popped up in the last month or so.

I've been putting some 10/10/10 fertilizer on it about ever 3-4 weeks and it seems to be working well..

I got this little guy last fall (about 6") over wintered in a pot inside, then planted out this spring after the last frost. How much bigger do you think she will get by the end of October?

and how big should the pups get before I can dig one up to grow on it's own?

It will probably grow a few more feet and the pups are big enough to take off right now if you want more planting material.

I'd snatch those pups off, they are more than ready. Might wait for a cool day though and do it in the evening so they have recovery time. Lookin good!
