Default My Backyard

Here is some shots of my Backyard. The Plants are bigger than they look in the Photos. Most of the bigger Banana Plants are "Orinocos".

Happy Banana Raising Y'all ,

Frank

Wow, that's really nice. I am in zone 8a. What are the types of Bananas shown in the pictures? All Orinoco? I would like to know what will grow here in Virginia before I spend my money on a waste.

How close would you space bananas? I'm preparing a few beds for mine - so far 8' seems to be a good number, methinks.

Be well,
Mike

Even if you lived in zone 7 where you have to dig them out and hide them under the house for winter?

Thanks to everyone for all the nice compliments!! I am going to store the plants in my outside bldg...My crawl space under my house is just too small.

Have a lot of work to do this Fall but I think it's worth it!
