Now that's special , well done , you must have treated that plant very well.
How long have you been growing it and do you restrict pup growth ? I have one Musella here in Bethesda MD at the moment , it's very small but I have high hopes for the future.

Thanks for posting that, Austin! It is really special. I've never actually seen multiple flowers on one pseudostem on any plant (Musella) other than a couple of pics on the internet (well, technically I guess this is a pic on the internet, but you're a real person that owns it!). I wonder why yours is doing that and some don't? I'm just jealous is all...wow! You might even get more, so keep your eyes peeled all around the pseudostem.

Good stuff, man! That's what it's all about right there!

Pinwheel Re: Musella lasiocarpa Flower--Update

My musella is still growing strong. I am pollinating the smaller flowers from the larger one in hopes to get seeds this fall. We'll see if it works!

Austin, could you upload those to your gallery here so people can search them up if they want to see pics of the Lasiocarpa?

Looks like you have a helper with the pollen, too. Check out your May 11 photos, I see a wasp in there doing the same thing!

Yeah, I also have several honey bees helping the process as well. With their efforts and mine, I bet I'll get some seeds off of the smaller flowers!

Thank you, Steve. I don't know what I did to make it produce three flowers. I have separated about 5 pups off of the plant over the last several months. That's why there aren't a ton of pups around the plant at this time. I plan on separating some more coming up. Steve, keep us posted with your musella as it continues to grow.

Thanks, Frank. That means a lot coming from a banana grower like yourself. Ain't it cool to know someone that has a plant with multiple flowers? LOL. You guys on this forum are the best. I appreciate you all!
