Default Musa velutina seeds

I received 25 seeds a couple of weeks ago and per the directions soaked them for a day and planted them. I used a soil with a nice mix of sand, compost and soil.

I have read that germination rate is low and slow on these. Not very descriptive.

Does anyone have experience on growing these from seed that can confirm my method of planting and germination expectation from their experiences with these seeds.

Should I have purchased more seeds to guarantee a few would germinate?

I am in so. Fla, perfect climate for nannas.
