Hi guys i have already managed to separate basjoo pups .However what im wanting to know is do you separate valutina pups in the same way please.Thanks

I have taken numerous pups/divisions off my velutina, and actually, it is easier for me than with say, basjoo. I simply cut a division of the mat and ensure there are a couple of pstem attached to the mat I remove. There are a few folks on this board that have received a "clump" from me, so hoping they will pipe in and let you know how they are doing....

Thanks very much randy.The reason i ask is im new to growing nanas {im hooked}In the summer last year my mother plant about 3ft high put 3 pups out so i thought ill have a go @ separating one. Thay where about 1 ft high however ther wasn't any roots on it so didn't live.The plant is in the garden shed overwintering with 2 pups still attached so im going to have another go in the spring.Thanks again guys all the best daz.The plant from last summer.
