My pitogo just sent up a flag, but i have no idea what the bloom to harvest time is. Does anyone have any experience with this one?

Did your fruit develop on your Pitogo? How long from flag to fruit? Mine just sent up the flag leaf.

Please tell, how did the fruit turn out? Bloom to harvest info? Taste? Pitogo is on my just for fun list.

I'd love to know too. I've recently had 3 pretty knowledgable banana people where I live tell me it's their favorite.

sorry guys, i haven't been on the forums in a while. the fruit from the first flowering failed but held on the next flowering/first ratoon. the fruit is still developing, but i will post some pictures.

mine bloomed sometime in early- to mid-october, but i didn't capture the date so my flag-to-fruit won't be accurate.

i will post a taste report after i give them a shot. i am not sure whether to eat ripe of fry green like a plantain, but i will try both.
