Even the same size plant and the correct variety wont look the same grown under different conditions. I have a Pisang Ceylon that looked typical for its variety when i got it but after ground planting it at the north side of a building with midday full sun but only bright shade the rest of the day,it doesnt produce a red underside new leafs and it doesnt have enough color on it in general. Had i not seen it have the typical Mysore traits before,i would think its not what i ordered too. Hopefully this year that it will grow to be taller than the building,it will get more color on it again.

I wish you to find a true 'Monkey Fingers' if what you already have is not I am also searching for a true tall growing 'Monkey Fingers'.
