Default Musa Basjoo in Zone 9?

I was wondering how the cold hardy Basjoo will do in warmer climates (zone 9)? I got 2 Basjoos today at Lowes. Thanks

They do great here in Kansas (Z6) in the summer. It stays 90-100 with high humidity for weeks at a time in August. They seem to be like the others. LOTS of water and sun.

Even though its cold hardy, its still a tropical plant and thrives on all the stuff most other bananas thrive on.
