Musa Basjoo bananas
 

I am still waiting for any response regarding the thread I started about 3 months ago under the title: Finally Bloomed" My Musa Basjoo finally bloomed after two seasons. I am so proud of being able to make the musa flower, however, the little banana fruits are no bigger than 3 inches and they have not grown an inch since!

Any input? I live in zone 8A Coastal North Carolina. thank you all, and may you all have the best Christmas ever.

Your doing much better than I with Basjoo,

From what i've seen of them (very little) the fingers do not grow much or swell like tropical Bananas in Puerto Rico.

I wish I could offer more but Basjoo does not grow well in South Florida.

Basjoo grows like a weed here in zone 10 central fla.
People will let them take over an area or patch of land.
I almost got a few but only saw small fruit.
Good luck. They can handle wind and I think a bit of cold weather...
