A friend of mine gave me a pup and a corm from a mat that he had been growing since 2005.
It is from a defunct cold hardy test program . Does anybody know why they crossed these two cold hardy bananas and is this cross a prize to have? Last edited by cincinnana : 08-20-2012 at 10:06 PM. |

I am interesting for this cold hardy basjoo hybrid! Are there also seeds existing? If yes, let me know by PN, I want the seeds!
Best wishes Joachim |

This would be a rare plant, but do you have confirmation it truly is what it is claimed to be? Do you have any photos of the plant, or better yet, fruit and flower photos of the parent plant? Often times people are claiming plants to be hybrids when in reality they are just mis-ID'd.
