I've found hauling nanners long distance it's better to lay them down on your trailer and gently cover with a tarp. You might have to re pot, but cuts WAY down on the shred factor.

The one I put on the roof of the surburban was just a hair taller than the 15' of frost cloth it was wrapped in or it would have been a perfect run. I was haulin' Banana's... :^)

You got a Banana and a Papaya fruiting in containers; good for you! I was actually thinking of trying to container grow those two very same things lol. What sorta mix/container size/feeding did ya use to get those two to put out?

That link is a helpful thread; thanks! What sort of soil mix do you grow them in when you use containers, and maybe your feeding regimen?
