Re: mites
Mites are a common agricultural pest, there are many different types. I had mites on my greenhouse tomato plant earlier this year and killed them with AZ41. I haven't personally used anything else for mites around the garden, etc.

Re: mites
You need to PM Joe Real to see if he can get you some. They have run out more than once and in the AZ41 thread I started previously he told someone to PM him if he needed some urgently. It does not leave any stains, etc. It's mixed about 1% with water and is tea tree oil, yucca extracts, and oil from citrus peels and is certified organic.

Re: mites
J, i got mites & aphids on plants outdoors - like a ton on a rose bush last year. I blast em off with hose then I put dawn dish soap (about 1 Tbls) in 8 oz HOT(not boiling) water & spray on. It always works for me.
I would spray some on the woodchips too.

Re: mites
I have used organic dish soap with tea tree oil and it worked well and got rid of my mites a few years ago. The other thing you could do is put some in a plastic bag and go to a good nursery and they will identify the little bastards and help you eradicate them. Good luck!

Re: mites
I had a small population in my house on some of my plants. I went to HD and bought a bottle of insecticidal soap for indoors and gardens ( can't remember the name at the moment), even though mites arent actually insects (arachnids) it seems to work well and since the first week, I have only caught between 1 and 4 per week on any given plant when there used to be 30+. When I get home I'll post up the name for ya.
