Manzana/Apple Banana In Trouble!
 

I got this baby about 6-8 weeks ago. I followed all the planting and growing recommendations but it’s not doing well and has black mites or aphids on it today! Help!![IMG][/IMG]

I dont see any photos, but assuming its just mites and aphids, they can be removed with a strong spray form the garden hose. Severe infestations may require removing from the pot, spraying off soil, and repot with fresh medium. You can treat with neem oil after removal of infestation. Photos would help.

Just an update on my Manzana. After weeks and weeks of it staying about a foot tall, I posted here and did some research. I treated and stayed on top of the aphids and aphid damage. Today my Manzana is about 5 feet tall and where we had no leaves, only a curly little green finger, we now have 4 huge leaves with more on the way!
