Bananas Brindando Manini are delicious!!!!

I ordered a dwarf Gros Michel from Keith (PR Giant) and he sent a couple of Manini fruit (and an extra mystery pup) along with my order! Let me start by saying if you order from Keith you will NOT be disappointed! Back to the Manini ,I couldn't taste the difference between them and a potato, they were so good. I grilled them along with a couple steaks and some grilled pineapple and they were great. I'm going to start eating plantains now for sure. Thanks for that experience Keith!!

Thanks for the kind words and let's see some pics of that mystery pup. I'm glad you enjoyed the Manini fruit it's definitely one of my favorites.

Is the mystery pup a Manini?

Before I forget, that's your mystery pup.

If that plant is a Manini I'm excited!!! . I have never tried to grow one of those yet. Haven't had the confidence to try. It's doing really well. My wife is in school and she always has the laptop. I try to upload photos with my iPad but have been unsuccessful so far but I will get them on here soon. I can't wait to try this Gros Michel ! I have a regular one but to already 8' tall and I'm worried if it doesn't bloom soon I won't be able to get it back in my greenhouse for the winter. Same thing with my Gran Naine , it just has to bloom here real soon. Having the dwarf version of the Gros Michel is going to be an advantage for sure.
