Mail Call!!!
Thanks to sddarkman, I have a nice new Blue Java banana...
The Post Office wasn't too friendly with the box... But, she made across the country with no damage... I'll have her potted soon... Hope to put her in the ground next spring...

Re: Mail Call!!!
Thanks!!! Seeing June 25th is exactly 6 months after Christmas last year, and, exactly 6 months before Christmas this year, I don't know if it is a late Christmas or early Christmas present...

SDDarkman sent you a really good looking plant. Lot of green leaves and decent size corm it looks like. Congratulations!

Re: Mail Call!!!
Nice! You should put it in the ground now. It will grow bigger and you will be glad you did by next spring. Trust me.

Re: Mail Call!!!
Potentially... I prefer to baby a new plant for a couple of months, before going in the ground... I had a couple of bad experiences doing it the other way... I'm pretty patient, so, I don't mind the wait...

Re: Mail Call!!!
Nice observation. In that case, make it a late pressie, so you have an excuse for an early one
