Hello Ante ---- here in S Florida it happened to me 10 years ago. Freeze killed all the pstems. but all the corms underground remain protected and everything came back. You loose a fruiting season only.
Good to see so many old members on the forum. Dan |

I didn't cover mine last winter and all died back to the ground. They've sprouted up with as many as plants per corm. I haven't divided them yet, so I have a frigging forest out there right now. Definitely have enough now, to replace all of the water suckers.

It will take some time until garden gets old look but I don't mind. And what's interesting most looks like water suckers.

Strange, most are still knee high? Summer was extremely warm but they did get enough water and fert but they just refuse to grow. Any ideas?

They're rebuilding/growing new roots. ... You probably need to mulch very heavily this winter and store any small pups inside to insure they make it though the winter.
... just my opinion ... |
