Ok guys looking on where to plant my bananas and i am wanting to put a couple by the pool. My concern is that when the pool guy does the back wash on the pump is the chlorine water going to kill the bananas, He does that every other month.
![]() thanks, Darla

Is there any way to get him to run the water elsewhere? Many people grow their bananas near the pool for the extra warmth in winter months.

Always room for one more. |

If it's that big of an area, shouldn't there be enough space for both?
I dumped concentrated bleach water on the clover in my driveway and it didn't hurt it. Pool water is nowhere near as strong. maybe do an online search for bananas and chlorine.

One, chlorine level of the pool naturally decreases by evaporation over time. So the pool guy back washes the pool filter, cleans debris from the pool, and then refills the pool & adjust the chlorine level. ... I don't think the chlorine (or salt) level of the back wash is harmful. ... But I would keep an eye on it.
Can you install a 4 inch PVC drain pipe to direct the water else where? |
