leaves folding turning yellow

Need advice on what to try?
Dc. Indoors the plants 2 months i have. Ever since i have the plant, growth has been extremly slow. i.e. its still trying to open its first leaf.everything has been normal on it up to last 2 weeks its been on a decline. Just wondering if i should chop its head off and let it restart. Or allow it to continue and go from there.

What is going on is normal for the plant when it has been indoors for a bit.
The plant is showing its displeasure from being indoors
Some plants show decline faster than others.

Your first response is to water /fertilize, do not. Let the pot dry out a bit.

Your plant has stopped growing for a while till it goes back outside where they belong.
Let the plant stay the course and trim off any yellow unsightly leaves, do not cut the green leaves off, the ones that will replace them will be weaker than the ones you have cut off.
Here is a photo of plants in September, note the decline because of the shorter days and cooler temps.......and they look a little worse at the moment. This is expected and its what they like to do:)

Over winter and inside your plants have less optimum conditions and have to adjust. Pics would help to give best advice on yours in particular. If you had them in the ground outside or even in pots, they have less light, temps are off, humidity etc. Unless you have almost perfect conditions inside, it's dormant season. They will lose leaves, they don't need as many now.
Just keeping them alive is the main goal, that and Picking the right ones for your ambitions and timing their growth so they are where you want in april or so.
SDC are always losing the bottom leaves over winter, look closely at the under and overside of leaves for the tiny spider mites, they are easy to miss till it's bad, try turning the lights off and shining a small strong flashlight longways along the midrib.
if you see tiny dots in a web you have them and its time to get some neem oil or azamax, follow directions, easy fix with a few doses.
Good luck
