Leaning Tower of Banana plants!

Yikes! I’ve got a lot of banana plants that are leaning over! I don’t know if I might have put in the corm in crooked in the containers or what! I suppose it could be b/c of the sunlight or heat light that might have caused it! What can be done about this? Do I just wait until I bring them out and straighten them out when I plant them in the ground in May? Any thoughts or comments? Thanks in advance!

my musa siam ruby is leaning also.
what varieties of bananas do you grow?
also that chusan palm (trachea fortune i think) is impressive

I really wanted to try and grow as many different kinds of plants as I can! Yes a lot of them are tropical plants! Well I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one with a leaning banana plant! I’ve got about 41 varieties of banana plants! Here are the names...

Blimey what a collection! Impressive. The coconut also. Well done. Call me impressed. Haha I’ve done that with seeds before. Put loads of seeds in pit and didn’t label it then had lots of bananas come up. It’s an easy mistake lol.

Good luck with your banana keep us updated. I’m defo interested in the banana and coconut growth

I see a couple that may need bigger pots but mostly I think they are growing towards the light. Rotating the pot should help. .... Good looking plants and they are waiting to get outside ..... haha

Whew! What a huge relief! Yeah they probably are just leaning towards the light! I’ll definitely be rotating the pots today! Thanks that means a lot! I’m so looking forward to bringing them out this spring! Thanks again for the reassurance!

Yeah I bet you are right about it leaning towards the light! Which is a bit of a relief! Thanks! It’s been pretty fun collecting all these different kinds of banana plants! Sometimes I surprise myself how big of a collection I’ve got! My AeAe is doing pretty great! Now at first the growth was really slow. Lately the growth had kicked up a notch or two! Here’s what it looks like.....

I think it’s grown at least 2 more leaves since I took that picture! So I’m pretty happy!
