Michael thanks for check in. All my family is safe. Visited my house, my daughters house and my son’s house yesterday. Took me an hour for me and relatives to chainsaw our way down my street to get to my house. Massive tree damage everywhere. Lost one 80 yr old magnolia that grazed my house. Can’t tell if I have roof damage because it’s up against the house. Lots of roof damage. Daughters house is complete loss, big pecan tree through the house, sons house damaged by high winds and a tornado. Lake Charles is a total mess. Much worse than Rita 15 years ago. But the sun shined today. We’ll get back

Glad everyone is safe.. property and infrastructure damage from these storms can be overwhelming.. but just keep a positive attitude, and keep moving forward everyday. Im sure you have been through it all before, so dont want to preach to ya, but yall will get through it! Prayers for all over there!

Re: Laura Hurricane

We had tree and plant damage, my poor banana took a lot of wind abuse, but will survive with trimming. We hunkered down in south Central Louisiana (south of Lafayette). Windows boarded up and several tornados all around us as close as 4 miles. So glad it's over. :0519:
