What have I got here on this ICE CREAM (labeled) plant that's growing next to it?

Kinda scared to remove it cuz I may have to go to confession for the last three pups I tried to bring into this world:}

Anyway what do you think?

Were these recently separated from a larger plant? If so, cut off the leaves.

The brown spot on the cigar leaf ? I wouldn't remove it. Try unfurling the leaf by hand.

I have similar brown spots on the leaves of my Ice Cream pups. I believe they're a micronutrient deficiency, either calcium or boron.

Roots take up moisture, among other things, and leaves lose moisture. If recently removed from a larger plant, moisture from that source is lost until the plant recovers and regrows its own roots. Moisture loss from the leaves, and lack of moisture being absorbed by damaged roots will continue for a while. Removing most or all of the leaves will reduce the moisture loss, and give the plant some time to adjust. Until that is done, you will get droopy leaves, and possibly lose the entire plant. Liberal watering does little good until the roots recover.

They did look a little on the too dry side to me also, unless you were just getting ready to water.
I'd put them in the shade for about a week, not semi-shade.

Hi Snookie,

I just want to second, what Yug an Pitangadiego said. But I also noticed, that those bananas are in pots.
That begs the question if you are moving them about occasionally? If so look at my post here:
My banana plant is dying

Yug brings up the point of water supply through a possibly damaged and inadequate root system.
If that is the case you might wonder how much to water.. I would say plenty, Bananas are tropical and
the tropics are humid and often outright soggy, but make darn sure, that there is good drainage.

Good Luck!
Olaf
