Hiya The last Hawaiian Apple bunch

Today I harvested the last Hawaiian Apple bunch that will be grown in my garden. It's also my wife's birthday today so it is kinda cool that Mr. Squirrel decided to announce to me that they were ready by climbing up to the bunch and chattering like he was the king of the world, but he wasn't so happy to see coming at him with the machete!

Thanks Howard!

Mike, I've grown tired of the winds breaking my tall plants in half when they have fruit hanging, and I have other plans for the area where this stand is.

That squirrel stayed on the bunch until I was about 3 feet away. I do believe I could have quickly taken a swing at him but I didn't want to bloody my machete.

Mitchel, if I can fit it into my upcoming trip, I'll swing by with my family for a few fingers! Still working on an itinerary, mostly trying to find some place to camp and mountain bike.
