Here is the first bloom from the apple that I got from Jarred probably a bit earlier than this time last year - the plant has grown really big and the bud is about 16ft tall. Can't wait to taste the fruit probably in January next year!!!

Unfortunately it is leaning towards the roof, so today we will brace it to stop the edge of the roof tile sawing through the stem. So about mid-January it should be tasting time! I wonder how many hands there will be?
