nice job, smart to take the time to seperate the roots as you did. Is this Logee's dwarf ladyfinger or some other?

Exactly.
Is it not pretty for a $24 plant?

I can't help to copy a picture from Logees the picture of a lady finger and its fruit.
I hope mine would be half as pretty as theirs.

Again, I ordered another banana from Logees. This time it is Super Dwarf Cavendish.
It arrived on 12/24 beautifully. No damage or frost damage except over bending of the leaves when they packed it. I am also surprised how much bigger this is compared to my lady finger. And it was on sale for only $19.95. This will fruit they say at only 3 feet. I'll transplant it today to a gallon pot since it came in a 4 inch pot. This is Logee's catalog picture of a SDC. I will hope that mine will be as good.

Here's the newly transplanted super dwarf cavendish for 19.95 from logees.
BTW I separated the roots also like my lady finger. I went against the recommendation of Logees when transplanting. They say not to disturb the roots. But I am doing it with my common sense. My lady finger is doing and growing beautifully. No wilting of leaves.
