![]() Has anyone had any success with the kru bananas fruting this year? I bought some this spring but I will have to wait another year or so to see them fruit. If you did can you post some pictures.

![]() No fruit this year. Has fruited in the past. Very cold sensitive, like all reds, and barely hangs on through winter. Probably needs to see 50+ all year to thrive.

![]() None of my Kru fruited this year but I did not expect bloom. They like a steady supply of water without overwatering. Mine went though 2 freezes early in the year, but most survived and grew several feet in 1 season. I have two that may fruit early next year. According to TREC Kru is the best tasting banana fruit behind Kofi. I am in zone 10 South Florida.

![]() I don't believe it's the best tasting banana, too bland... In my book, goldfinger, ice cream, psyang raja, manzana, and raja puri are tops in my book.
