Java ?
I got a local guy claiming to be selling Blue Java. When I asked if it was a verified mother plant, he looked at me sideways like I was a nut. I wish I had other photos, but this is all I have. What do you think?

This is Blue Java/Ice Cream
  Yours looks like Namwah / Misi Luki. I haven't bought an "Ice Cream" yet that was the real deal, from any source. Mine came from a verified friend of a friend source, and I have seen the original plant and mine has fruited.

I believe I read here that most ICs are really tall Namwahs. Is that correct? Are there any other likely possibilities? I can buy a pup inexpensively or even get a freebie. I have a Dwarf Namwah so a tall Namwah would fit in my garden as would any other banana variety since I'm just starting out but I'd like a general idea of what I'm acquiring.

Many plants sold as IC turn out to be Tall Namwah. I know from experience. Tall Namwah is a great banana, so if that is what your IC turns out to be, it's not a bad thing.
