Record breaking too. We have had the lowest chilling hours accumulated todate.
This is only very early February, and my bananas in the yard are starting to leaf out. I thought we are supposed to be zone 9? |

The weather dweebs did predict this correctly so far! I know we need the water but my Bananas have not stopped growing with the mild temps. They have taken a few beatings from some strong winds though. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of winter we have next year!

I'm loving the warm weather, but the low humidity and the Santa Ana's are the pits! I had a big surprise a couple of days ago when I looked out and saw a new bloom on one of my Orinoco's!
