Interval for desuckering

Good day!

May I know what is the best interval for desuckering or sucker control for banana?

As soon as you see the 5th sucker in a mat. Cut it under the ground. Sometimes you have to stab it.

Some people say no more than 3 pups in a mat. And stagger the height or you won't know how you'll eat all of them ripe ones all at once as per Jarred advice.

Depends on what your goals are, how much space you have, how many people you have to feed, how many plants you want to eventually have, time of year it is, etc. etc.
