Chong- I didn't mean to contradict you, but, on my keyboard, when I try to use numbers in the top row for this, I get that sound that says you're hitting the wrong key

None of these methods are working, to get the Ene.

Chong I do not know if mine is a "dwarf" when compared to other Ninos. They were gifts from my inlaws relatives. Possibly this summer I may get down to Puerto Rico and see the parent plant and take a picture or two.

I got one hand of six fingers and it went straight into male flowers.
I need to re-evaluate my container culture methods.

Hold the train, Pete! The fruits are supposed to be small, you know. Got some pictures?

Six fingers was the total count. I decided to put this one in the ground to try for more pups/ better growth. I chopped the fruiting p-stem off right after this pic. That's my Fig/pineapple guava/pomegranate orchard in the background. The bricks are there to protect the smaller poms.
The bloom was at chest level. I decided to do some serious synthetic (gasp) fertilizing with this one.
I have several pups earmarked to ship but need to figure out this weird condition first. It only occurs in older leaves and only when I use our tap water which is high in sodium. The thing is, it starts out with a ring pattern that resembles a fungus and never shows up when I use rain water.

Wow, Pete!

Some of the posts here say Nino is Pisang Mas. So Nino=Pisang Mas=Kluay Khai? And possibly the same as Logee's Lady Finger?

I would like to explore that, but my Dwarf Nino corm has yet to put out a leaf. I just keep it in the pot and hope that it will show some life soon. Then I will TC it.

Dar, there has been some speculation about this in the past but NANAMAN has brown both Logee's Dwarf Ladyfinger and Ņino and said in the past they definitely are not the same. Based on some comments here, Ņino is a larger plant than Dwarf Ladyfinger. Even Pete's stunted plant grown in a pot is larger than the fruiting Dwarf Ladyfinger which NANAMAN posted previously.

Thanks for the info!
Ok, after looking at the Logee's Dwarf Lady Finger threads, it made me go place an order for one from Logee's. This is like the perfect banana for me, well almost. Anything that can fruit like that in a pot is really good for me since I have limited space. Hope its not the same as Kluay Khai though, since I already have one.

Good luck, Dar! Mine isn't looking to good right now, though I hope it recovers now that I re-potted it in new soil. I don't really think I had fertilized it very much, but I did noticed that the root system wasn't huge so maybe I had given it too much for its size.
