Ice Cream curvy leaves?
 

Does anyone know why my ice cream would be throwing leaves that are curved in one direction? The heat index here has been in 100+F range with humidity usually around 60-70%. Its been a bit windy at times though.

I've had this problem with my Raja Puri Lately- some of the leaves actually curve down like a "U"
No Idea what it could be...

Seems many members are experiencing this.
I have it on a number of banana species. They all grow fine, and this in no way seems to play a role on overall health.

I am not sure what is causing it, but am willing to guess on the extreme heat.

Perhaps crushing Viagra into the soil or mixing with the water....

Same problem with my "Comune di Sicilia - Orinoco" .... the last four leaves are curved....

All the bugs it gets poured on will be standing tall for days.. It stops wilting in plants I don't know if it will straighten out the curve. :^)

I have the same problem with my 6ft Raja. It does this for about 3 leaves and then puts out 3or4 that are good. Just when I thought it was ok I now have another curved leaf.. I wasn't watering it very much when the leaves were curving, they are in pots..any ideas?

Update: after 4 curved leaves, my comune di Sicilia has unfold a new leave completely straight..... water, fertilizer and weather are exactly the same...

Hey Amanda, I live in Gulf Shores. I went out and looked at my Ice Creams and did'nt notice anything unusual with them. I'll keep an eye on them.
