![]() wow Vickie! at first you made it sound kind of ordinary: water gardens and bananas, but your picture really proves otherwise! - what an amazing, exotic, yard! I love the interplay of cannas and bananas in the same view and next to water. I love to border Bordelon bananas with Tropicana or Australia Cannas and even the red shield hibiscus. Various shades of maroon grouped together particularly appeal to me! Your Intrigue cannas in the picture are also one of my favorite cannas, and is that a Victoria waterlily? ![]() This is a true banana grown in water. I have had it since the summer of 2007 and it is in water even in the winter in my basement. I have started other bananas in water. You can do it and grow them in water
