My bananas are starting to push out leaves again! Highs around 60 and lows above 40!!

Early spring, please!

I have a few that are barely showing some new green, but we are still having lows in 30s and most days our highs have only been in the 50s.

Tomorrow is Groundhog day lets hope Punxsutawney Phil does not see his shadow tomorrow . Hope he does not and for sure spring will come early. lets hope

Not too much longer before spring. Im just hoping that we dont get any colder (I think the lowest I got according to weather.com for the winter is only 15F (maybe a little lower), but not bad for a zone 7.) When the 70s come spring is in full gear and once the 80s come and the humidity comes, the best time of the year is here .... SUMMER

Im looking forward to seeing enjoyable weather every day and winter (and the freezes it brings) becoming just a memory.

Did you hear they want to replace the real groundhog with some kinda fake one.. A kinder gentler version I bet :^) All I know he best not see his shadow..

The folks living on the coast here in San Diego County have decided winter is over. Yesterday at the Leucadia Farmers Market I sold over 100 4-inch vegetable and herb starts and 37 boxes/bags of fertilizer.

LOL...24 F here...low of 9F tonight. Spring is FAR off! Hell, even if it hit 50's I'd be busing out my shorts! It's amazing how pleasant 50 degrees feels after months of freezing temperatures!

I can't wait for the 1st warm day to open the windows for a while

I'll be Happy when the gulf stream comes back cause it will be warm. Hopefully the end of Feb.. <- crossin' fingers :^)
