Re: I got my Variegated Florida!
Hi! Does anyone here have by any chance some advise on trusty sellers of this plant? I find al the different names rather confusing, still not sure if a florida or an ae ae is the same or not, but the image shown by bill is the kind I was looking for. And as some sellers may try to get a buck out of a naive buyer I thought I would ask for some advice here.

Re: I got my Variegated Florida!
AeAe and Florida are two different varieties that look very similar. Once you know what to look for they are easy to tell apart. They both sell for big dollars. I would recommend eBay. I believe that is where most people buy them. Good luck.

Re: I got my Variegated Florida!
My Florida is still in the 25 gallon pot. It has grown a lot. I removed two pups from it. It didn't like that at all and the mother plant stopped growing for about a month. It is growing now and very happy. I have it in full sun so it is growing faster but all the white areas burn. I'll post a picture soon.

Re: I got my Variegated Florida!
My Variegated Florida is doing well. It is still in a 25 gallon pot. I will probably put it in the ground in the spring. I want to make sure it makes it through this winter. PS is 52" tall. It has almost caught up to my Variegated Florida.
I removed three pups but only one made it. The pups don't seem to be very strong growers. In the future I will wait until they are larger to remove them. My main plant has three new small pups on it where I removed the first three. Bill Last edited by Best day : 09-30-2020 at 02:42 PM. |

Re: I got my Variegated Florida!
Hey Best Day! Any updates on your Florida? Did it produce any fruit? I'm wondering how it would taste
