Hua Moa bunch
Just cut down the first bunch from my 2nd gen of Mua Hoa's.
The yield this time was considerably larger (35 lbs) than the last, easily double the weight. I've got another bunch on the other plant that is nearly ready to come down and ever larger yet. Man, we're gonna be busy frying up tostones for weeks. Compare to my first yields: |

Re: Hua Moa bunch
Fantastic! Huge, fat fingers! Looks like you more than doubled the yield from the prior year.

Re: Hua Moa bunch
Just cut down my 2nd bunch from the other Hua Moa. This one was a little larger I think. Another great yield.
Now it's a waiting game for more. One plant is probably a few months or os from fruiting, while the other is just a pup. |

Re: Hua Moa bunch
Very tasty bananas... Usually have a core, but the rest is very good out of hand. Great job. I need one of them.

What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more. |
