Default How to plant this Banana Corm

This Namwah is growing sideways. I've been told they don't correct themselves. Is this true? Will I have to plant it on it's side so the growth points up.
This one always lacked the green of the other ones I received. Maybe I misread it and this one was underground sideways and I should have planted it accordingly.
I know the pick is sideways but I not sure how to fix the pic and it makes the sitituation all the more crazy. LOL.[IMG][/IMG]

Thank you. I'll just plant it as is. People with crooked corms agree let it be. I love the Beatles.

When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be

And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom
Let it be

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be
Whisper words of wisdom
Let it be

You really should set the pot on its bottom so the "P" Stem will not bend downwards.

Gravity taking effect!

Boy oh boy. Why did not I think of that? That is ingenious.
But how do you get the water to stay in the pot?

Thanks for the advice. I'm getting ready to move so the nailing method won't work.
My dilithium crystals needed to recharge so I could not increase the gravity in the house. They don't stay charged very well in the dry Arizona climate. Scotty would be pissed. How I wish I was on Vulcan. Now they can grow bananas.
I made a compost tea with worm castings, kelp, spiny achidna eggshells, naked mole rat droppings and a pinch of viagra.
That mixed with the gravity adjustment has got the crooked banana tree standing at attention now.
I think I might drink some too.

in your travels watch out for the deadly banana infection. especially on Vulcan. you won't die but will eventually talk like a walking dictionary where no one can understand you, say things like, I would refute that allegation as moribund.
