How much to trim?

I just unwrapped my bananas here in Dallas, TX, and took away the frost cloth. It is spring like conditions and I am afraid it would hurt if they were wrapped any longer.
After I did that I saw that to varying degree they have some mushy tissue, kind of rot but not quite.
I cut away some of it but some plants like the Saba it looks kind of dead but feels really firm so I left most in place. I have an example of how much I trimmed my Icecream. The p-stems in the garage are still waiting to get planted and if I see something mushy I cut it off directly so they are all in good shape.
Question is the once outside that have started growing again, how much should I trim them?

Is this enough? See link.

Thanks

Generally rot is dark brown. It MUST be removed. Once you have seen it, you will always know what it looks like.

based on the pic unless you've already done it, it looks fine ready to go!

Thanks for the feedback. I removed anything black. Now it is just some light brownish stuff left as per the picture. Some is firm and some is a bit mushy. The bananas mostly have really started growing.
Do I remove the firm brown stuff or the mushy stuff or is that something the banana will deal with on its own and just shed those leaves eventually?
