How can you guys put up with all the adds?

I joined this morning looking for some help with my flurishing banana tree. The more I explore the site, the more I notice how prolific the adds are. There everywhere including sex adds

It's a bit unuasual to have so many adds. I'm not a difficult poster but it's distracting and may move on if there is another banana forum.

What's the best banana site?

I understand making money but,,,,, ,,,,, ,.

I didnt get any of those.

I usually just scroll down but the most anoying
is when it blocks the whole screen and you have to
wait for the commercial to download.

I don't use any blockers but the ads I see are not X rated, don't open videos and are limited to the area above the Chatroom stats. I use Firefox.

This is the best site!!! And it's free so don't mind the ads. I don't. I wouldn't change anything about this site. You know, there is some costs related to operating this site and the advertisers pay for those so it's free for us.

Oh, I forgot. I don't get that many ads and they are not sex related. You should maybe check your pc for viruses or get a better antivirus.

Sorry, I guess it wasn't sex adds but 'meet Asian singles adds'. Nothing X rated.

I only post on a couple of forums, none have adds. I guess I'll get used to them and get 'adblock'.

Welcome to 2015! Ads are generally tailored to previous things you've looked up. If you're looking at ahem adult material ahem, you will have ads that will entice you to their site. So... Based on your browser history.... Someone in your house has been looking at some materials related to a different type of banana haha

I do a lot of research on the net and Google most of the time. Doing that means I go to irrelivent sites at times ending up with cookies that I clear out every once in a while.

I think the singles adds were left over cookies from a site I must have visited from Googling. Either that or I'm a sex addict and don't know it. Last week I had all kinds of adds for Jeep Rubicons. The adds in question were all Google adds.

I cleared cookies and they're gone.

Yeah, Google ads do track. Not trying to accuse, just saying it happens unfortunately. I keep getting ads for pot because I keep looking at the container grown section and often search for pots. The ads think I'm a user... Which is no where near the truth ha-ha. Just the key word pot is triggering it.

It doesn't offend me but makes me feel uncomfortable. I thought they had gone away but 'nada'. Asian singles adds between the responses.

I'm on an Ipad with the latest operating system using Safari. Cleared the cookies and history and they're still all over. That's after blocking.

As I understand, the Asian single adds or 'Tasha wants to talk to you' adds are not standard for this forum. Interesting, they're not on any other site I visit.

I get the Asian adds too, I figured it had something to do with all of the Asian bananas we discuss on the forum. There used to be an add telling me not to eat bananas. The one I have now is telling me about getting an MBA in Israel.

Damn, even when typing this response it has an add for Asian singles above the response box. I'm starting to get used to it.

Regarding the cost of running the forum. This forum uses V-Bulletin which is free open source software. There's not much cost involved. It also has the ability to put the adds on the side instead of the middle between responses.

Hey webmaster, why not put the adds on the side instead of the middle?

Here I am a newcomer rocking the boat and complaining. Sorry to all. You guys are great!

To an extent...I haven't been looking for Asian women to marry, I certainly haven't been looking at Chevrolet vehicles to buy. I have visited a few university web pages during my search which might explain the ads for MBAs.

I have really been perplexed at the Asian singles ads. What's the keyword that trips that add.
