My bananas are having a hard time. 102 degrees and 3% humidity...

Its actually comfortable here but its going to be humid and in the upper 80s for the rest of the week into the weekend and next week. The bananas love the humidity, so I guess they are struggling a bit in your dry heat. With water I think they should hang on.

I know how you feel palmtree! Last week it reached 110F here. This week is about 98F with lows of 75 and 5-10% humidity. Even though my bananas get shade in the late afternoon, some still crisped up a bit.
Even with the heat, the growth hasn't slowed down! |
