Default Hi guys- plus Borneo Giant

Hello all, I'm slowly putting back some sort of a plant collection after killing most of my stuff this winter. Siam Ruby is fine as are a few other Musa.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone has a pup of Alocasia 'Borneo Giant' available as I cannot find it online this year. If one of the nursery guys has some that are not ready to go yet please let me know to.

Thanks to Randy for the PM and the offer of replacement Musa

Best Wishes
Steve

Thanks Steve for the info , I've found one source on the web I'll just need to save up a bit as I've gone a bit over the top on new plants in the last month.
May should be a good time to order a few more plants
Later
Steve

Steve - sorry you had a lot of losses this winter. It always takes a long time to replace old favourites. Sorry I can't help you.

Thanks Cassie , it's not so bad and it was my fault as I did not get stuff inside fast enough and had a delay on the Greenhouse building. I think I'v saved the Ensete Superbum Thai but my big Ensete Maurelli are toast ,the Maurelli were 10 dollar Homedepot plants so Ican replace them cheaply. Randy is sending me a couple of Musa. I killed all my big fruiting Musa which will put me another year behind but I gave the guy nextdoors boy one fruiting Musa and they are moving to Equador with the State Dept so I get that one back. I have about 20 or so new plants and will buy a bunch more money allowing, so I'm sure by the end of Aug I'll be back up to speed.
I'll start posting pics in a month or so when some of the more interesting plants get bigger.
Best Wishes
Steve

Thanks guys for the support , I'm not too upset with the loses and I've restocked with some great plants already. I still have Musa 'African Red' and Musa Royal Purple' from last year. I lost a lot of the usual suspects like Zebrina but I'll run across one in a local nursery one day soon I'm sure.

Mark good to hear from you too, hope all is well with you.

I spend the day yeasterday potting up small plants into larger pots and sorting out Greenhouse space. A few weeks is all I need to get the Jungle going again.
Thanks all again but I must repeat it's all my fault and I should know better after growing Exotic plants for the past few years.
Best Wishes
Steve

Steve,

I've lost Alocasia Borneo Giant two years running. It is a non survivor for me in zone 9. I'm giving up on it and going with alocasia Calidora. Stokes Tropicals has small Borneo Giants. It may not be on their website so you might have to call to order.
