Default Help,,,,,,Black Spots on Young Plants

A few months ago I planted two Bananas I ordered from the internet. They have been doing very well until a few days ago when I noticed two spots on one leaf and spots were as black as ink. Today those spots have become holes in the leaf. I removed this leaf and one other on same plant that was showing new smaller dark spots. Can someone help me with the solution to problem. ? Also, getting a new leaf every week but seems to not be getting any taller. Thank you and look forward to hearing about this.We are having rain every day by the way. These spots are about the size of a quarter with uneven edges making up the circle of black. Thanks again for any help.

For future reference....no need to 'remove leaves' unless they are entirely brown/dry/dead. A small imperfection is hardly a reason to deprive the plant of so much photosynthetic goodness.

Very possibly the plant is just too wet. Nothing you can really do about it except wait till it dries out. Especially if you're still getting regular growth, it's nothing to worry about.

Appreciate the information. We've had much rain over the last month, almost every day. Thanks again.
