Default Help with AeAe?

My AeAe has fallen over, not due to wind or weight it is only a few feet tall. I noticed it was starting to lean then after a few days it was laying on the ground. The corm was still intact. I cut it off at the base of the plant and left the corm in the ground. Is there anything else I should do to help it survive. The corm in buried except at the place the previous plant was. The corm is firm everywhere except where the original plant was. Any help would be appreciated as to fungicides digging it up and potting it, or letting it be.
Thanks

I don't think it was a good idea to Chop the leaning plant. Why not use a stick to prop it instead? If the plant had a small corm then things are not looking good!
