Default Help

I have a banana (what kind I have no clue) but earlier it was doing great and I was getting a new leaf about once a week! Now it has suddenly stopped and the leaves that are on it are one by one during brown and falling off. Is this at all normal? What should I do? Thanks in advance for any help!

Default Re: Help

Check the corm and see if its rotting.
Are you able to post a picture?

Usually the rot starts from the bottom up, the plant looks alive when in fact the part where the new growth comes from has died. The leaves are the last to go when that happens.
