![]() Hi i live in Ohio also....I depends on what kind of banana you have. If it is not a cold hardy type it is probably already dead....But if it is a Musa Basjoo or Musa Sikkimensis you might still be able to save it. I take it you just left it alone?? You will have to cut it down to about a foot or so and put a few bags of mulch over it to keep the roots from freezing. You should have did that in early november though so i dont know if it is to late or not.

![]() Well better put lots of snow over it when you get it. t will insulate the rootstock. But best to mulch it thickly in November before the frost arrives!
