Re: Got Namwa
Bummer. I was hoping for 3 months. I have a friend coming down from Illinois the day after xmas and I was hoping to have something ready as mine just threw a pre flag yesterday...
I had 2 nice bunches last year but Irma saw to it I never got to see them ripen... (Picture me out in 60+ mph winds with pouring rain in my yellow Mickey mouse poncho using two props trying to save the second one once the first went down.) |
Re: Got Namwa
Thank you, yes I thought the one to the right would go first. There is one on the left from the same time frame so its possible we may eventually have 3. We'll see. I wont be comfortable until hurricane season is over. We had bananas on most of or collection last year and lost all but Orinoco.

If you ever find or invent something that will withstand hurricanes, you will be a VERY rich person. |
Re: Got Namwa
I have an idea in my head... It involves a lot of PVC, a few nails, some bungee cords and a few sandbags. It's fully adjustable for any size plant and can hold a bunch if necessary. All I need is about $1000 and 3 hurricanes to test it out....
