Hey Ya'll,
I have been out for a bit. Today I went into the backyard and bout passed out. My Goldfinger has produced. This is her second season. I have been able to cut a few pups off the corm. I am SOOO happy I could implode. The weather is starting to turn a bit cooler. The lows here are in the fifties at night. I am not to worried. The highs are still in the eighties. We shall see what happens. Should I be worried? Anyway, I had to share these pics. This is an early shot. You can really see how the blooms unfold This is a closeup of the flowers. This is another side shot. The nanners appear to be unfolding. Cool. I am really proud of this shot.

Hey Kenzie,
BEAUTIFUL flowers on the nanners. You should proud of those pics and having your GF flower. Even if I never get fruit from mine, getting to flower will be heaven! ![]() |

Well, the only thing I'd worry about is consistantly cool - cold weather. This could slow the growth down on the entire plant and most importantly the maturation of the fruit. But I think it should be ok and by mid november you could have some decent sized edible fruit.

Nice pictures! The plant looks very healthy so far. Hope you get some extended warm weather to ripen those!
