Golden Pillow Bananas?
 

I saw "Golden Pillow" banana fruit for sale last week and purchased a hand. Has anyone had these? The bananas have been yellow for about a week now and they still taste like a half cooked potato. Are these for cooking only or do they need to be almost black before eating?

Talked with someone who bought some last year and apparently these might not have been harvested at the right time - he said they were much better last year.
