Default germination of musa pink valutina

Looking for info ,intructions I received say 1 inch depth in potting soil.Stokes seeds book bananas you can grow say 1/4 inch ,65 to 75 degrees,constantly moist soil.I was going to use a dome to keep moisture consistant,any advise? thanks,Dave.
