Germinating seeds

I can't find anything special for germinating seeds, like an own thread for germinating seeds. So, therefore I make one. I haven't got much experience yet, so I was hoping to get a little help from other people here...:bananarow:

Well, till now I have had my seeds (Musa acuminata & ornata & velutina) in small boxes with vermiculite. These boxes are floating on heated water. The water is heated 10 hours a day, to about 95°F, in the night the temperature will go down to about 70°F.

Now I have put it to a colder room, so the night temperature will go down to 50-60°C. I think that will be better.

Share whatever of experience you got, how you do it, temperatures, everything!:bananas_b

Re: Germinating seeds

Sounds like you have a good chance with your setup. Make sure not to over water, and not to underwater.
