Default German banana book - Images wanted

Hi,

I'm just writing a banana book in German language, it will be the first banana book in German, one book about growing hardy bananas and dwarf bananas in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other German speaking areas for outdoors, wintergardens, houses, greenhouses and containers. The book title is in German language: Bananen in Mitteleuropa - Anleitung für erfolgreichen Bananenanbau (Bananas in Central Europe - How to grow bananas successfully),

I'm looking for pictures, the minimum size of every image file must be 5 or 6 MB and of the high picture quality. I will use the pictures for my book.

I'm looking for pictures of:

Pseudotrunk of one banana
Overlook of one cutten pseudotrunk (diameter, petioles, anatomy of the pseudotrunk)
Mother plant with sucker
Banana corm/rhizome/roots
Musa basjoo - flower and fruits
Musa cheesmani
Musa itinerans
Musa nagensium
Musa rubinea
Musa sikkimensis "Red Tiger"
Musa sikkimensis - flower and fruits
Ensete glaucum - plant
Ensete glaucum - flower
Ensete maurellii
Musa thomsonii
Musa velutina - plant
Musa velutina - flower
Musa "California Gold"
Musa "Chini Champa"
Musa "Dhusre"
Musa "Ice Cream"
Musa "Orinoco"
Musa "Dwarf Orinoco"
Musa "Rajapuri"
Musella lasiocarpa - plant
Musella lasiocarpa - flower
Musa acuminata var. zebrina
Musa beccarii
Musa mannii
Musa ornata - wild species
Musa ornata "Milky Way"
Musa uranoscopus syn. coccinea
Musa "Double Banana" syn. "Mahoi"
Musa "Dwarf Brazilian"
Musa "Dwarf Puerto Rican"
Musa "Dwarf Red"
Musa "Grand Nain"
Musa "Super Dwarf Cavendish" - plant
Musa "Super Dwarf Cavendish" - fruits
Musa "Williams Hybrid"
Musa "Zan Moreno"
Tissue culture or micropropagation of the banana
Black Sigatoka - disease picture
Yellow Sigatoka - disease picture

Could you help me to obtain these images for my book with permission for using the pictures for my book?

Please email me, if you do have suitable images for my book, and add the image files (JPEG, GIF).

Much thanks in advance!

With the best wishes
Joachim

Joachim,

Sie können die Abbildungen auf meiner Galerie ansehen. Informieren Sie mich, wenn irgendwelche für Ihr Buch und mich der Wille nützlich sind, der die größere Version zu Ihnen geschickt wird.

I'd like to get a copy of your book when it comes out for the pictures alone. Good luck with it.
I maybe able to contribute a few pics, but not until later.

New Update! Now I have 100 pics for my book together! There are last 3 pics missing:

Musa "California Gold"
Musa "Goldfinger" (FHIA-01)
Musa yunnanensis

The pics of "Grand Nain", "Double Mahoi" and "Zan Moreno" I have got today!

Does anyone here has the last three pics?

Best wishes

Hi!

Best thanks for all of the pics which I did get! Now is my manuscript of my book ready and completed!! I completed it yesterday! Now I will give the manuscript to three people in Germany (one biologist and another book author who is also just writiing a book about one hardy palm species for Germany) and Austria (banana expert and banana nurseryman) to against-read, check and correct. When they are ready, then I will improve it and send it to a publishing house.

Honestly said, it was a hard job, but it was important for the German speaking area.

Best wishes
