Are the fruit of Musa Velutina Edible?

Look what I woke up to this morning!! I was just saying to my wife yesterday, how do we know when the fruit is ripe? I guess I got my answer.
Just beautiful. But are they edible? [IMG][/IMG]

They are considered non-edible because of their seeds but not poisonous or anything. They taste kinda sweet if you can get enough pulp to taste not a great taste to me but you can taste them if you want to. There is about 100-150 tiny rock hard seeds per tiny banana. Be careful! They will chip a tooth. You can try to eat around them but it's very difficult.

you are absolutely correct. They are sweet, but the seeds make them impossible to eat. Never seen so many seeds in a banana !!
